Fundraiser – Friday, May 9th, 2008

Schedule of Events

Purpose:

The purpose of this fund raising event will be to raise money to re-vitalize the Mark Reed Foundation, while at the same time increasing awareness of the Mark Reed Health Care District and its various service-providing subsidiaries in the communities that it serves.  The proceeds from the event will be used to support the healthcare needs of the District with a commitment from the foundation to give 50% of the proceeds back to the community to support health care related activities.

Event Location:

This year's Foundation Fundraiser will be held Friday May 9th, 2008 at the Oaksridge Golf Course, a locally-owned and operated facility located in Elma, WA which is a quick 35 minute drive to the spectacular Washington Coast or the State’s Capitol in Olympia. Oaksridge is centrally located within the Grays Harbor Public Hospital District #1

Schedule of Events

11:00 am – Event Registration

12:00 pm -  Welcome & Celebrity Golfer Auction 

The tournament will be a “Best-Ball Scramble”.  The playing field will consist of 30 teams of 4, with each team being paired with one “celebrity”.

12:30 pm – Shot Gun Start

4:00 pm – Social Hour, Wine & Beer Tasting, Health Fair & Silent Auction

5:30 pm – Golf Awards

6:00 pm – Dinner Gala & Live auction

Golf Event Details

The Golf Tournament includes driving range which opens at 11:00 a.m.; celebrity golfer auction at 12:00 p.m.; shotgun start at 12:30 p.m.; appetizer hours, Health fair and silent auction 4:00; and Golfer awards to be presented at 5:30.

$100 PER PLAYER - ENTRY FEE INCLUDES:

Dinner Event Details

Dinner & auction registration will open at 3:30 pm.  The silent auction tables will be open for bidding from about 4:00 pm until the gourmet dinner gala & live auction begin around 6:00 p.m.

Numerous sponsorship options offer an opportunity to help make our 2008 Foundation Fundraiser a success.  Each sponsor will be recognized at the event, on all publications, and on our website.

If your company would like to donate an item for the silent or live auction, please fill out our Corporate donation form. Mark Reed Hospital Foundation is a non-profit 501©(3) organization. Your donation will be acknowledged with a thank you letter that will serve for tax purposes. Please return your donation form to the Foundation office as soon as possible.
